Pediatric Department

The Pediatric Department at BIMS Hospital Unit–I provides healthcare services for infants and children as part of the hospital’s approved clinical facilities under the West Bengal Clinical Establishment (Registration, Regulation and Transparency) Act, 2017.

The department supports medical assessment, routine care, and monitoring of pediatric patients, with services delivered under the supervision of qualified medical officers and trained nursing staff, following standard pediatric care protocols.

Emphasis is placed on patient safety, hygiene, proper documentation, and a child-friendly care environment in accordance with applicable healthcare guidelines.

The Pediatric Department also provides a supervised clinical setting for observational learning and practical exposure of Nursing and Pharmacy students, without compromising the quality of patient care.
