Operation Theatre & Labour Room

BIMS Hospital Unit–I maintains designated Operation Theatre and Labour Room facilities in accordance with its approved clinical scope under the West Bengal Clinical Establishment (Registration, Regulation and Transparency) Act, 2017.

These facilities are organised to support safe clinical procedures, aseptic practices, and patient monitoring, with due emphasis on hygiene, infection control measures, and standard operating protocols.

All activities within the Operation Theatre and Labour Room are conducted under the supervision of qualified medical professionals and trained nursing staff, ensuring proper documentation, patient safety, and compliance with applicable guidelines.

The facilities also provide a supervised clinical environment for observational and practical exposure of Nursing and Pharmacy students, without compromising patient care standards.
