Medical Department

The Medical Department at BIMS Hospital Unit–I provides general medical care and consultation services as part of its approved clinical facilities under the West Bengal Clinical Establishment (Registration, Regulation and Transparency) Act, 2017.

The department supports evaluation, monitoring, and management of patients requiring non-surgical medical care, with services delivered under the supervision of qualified medical officers and trained nursing staff.

Clinical activities are carried out following standard treatment protocols, proper documentation practices, and patient safety guidelines applicable to hospital operations.

The Medical Department also provides a supervised clinical environment for Nursing and Pharmacy students to gain observational learning and practical exposure without compromising patient care.
